Hi Declan! Where are you now? We just celebrated pi day. Actually,we were the ONLY 5th grade class not acknowledging it. Mr. Miller's class brought in pies to celebrate, but then there was so much pie that each kid was going to get 2 and a half pieces of pie. Mr. Miller thought that was too much pie, so he let us each have a piece. Science is awesome! We were looking at amoebas on Friday, but we weren't looking for the right thing so missed them. Mr. Miller's class found one, and they put the document camera up to the eyepiece of the microscope so everyone could see. We got to go over and look at it. It was so cool!it is like a bag full of syrup. It pours it's innards down into one end of it, and then it's skin moves so that it can hold the innards that are all going to one end of it. In math we have just started Filling and Wrapping. Where are you in math? See you in May! -Gwen
ReplyDeleteCool can you save me a piece? In math Ive gotten all the way through what do you expect and moved on to the books my brother is doing because i don't get to look at amoebas I'me focusing on math! I have finished 6 math books when my brother has only fineshed1 and a bit!
